[21] How is the faithful city become a harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. [22] Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: [23] thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unt…

Pastors and Priests
Who drives us, forward? Who tells us what to do? Who gives us the lessons of "right and wrong?" Shouldn't we trust, only those, who are, trustworthy? Why do we trust strangers, then, who do not know us, only their own hearts? Who seek, but do not find? Because they seek, "wrongly?" Who are these people, who lead us, and guide us? Do t…

Patriot Day 2026
Today is a day of great significance. Many years have passed, since September 11th. Twenty-five, in fact. There are many things, which could be said, about this day. I want to give peace, to those affected. For the many who volunteered, to fight, and to die, for the cause of protecting this country, and her people, peace. For those who died, and were affected …

The Best and the Worst
Who are the best people in the world? Who are the worst? No matter what we think, I'm sure most of us consider ourselves among the former, and not the latter, category. This is important. If we see ourselves as good, we will want to see, what is within us, within, others. Others, are not always like us. This is because, God made everyone to be different, h…

The Pain of the World, Relinquished
The green of the trees, the red of the dirt, the speckled flower, blowing in the breeze. Each has a part to play, in nature, this grand, Each has its part to say, Throughout and upon this land, The land that God has given us, Is surely to be given to, The ones whom God has chosen, The ones whom hitherto, Had nothing, or little, And did not have a "prayer,&q…

The World Moves On
The World Moves on The world moves on, but I have not So many things, it has forgot The way forward, is not always the best Sometimes, looking back, will grant, us, rest; I remember when I was small When things were big, and parents tall I remember this era, of my life, Spanned years, and years, with little strife And few people my age Ever gave into rage And few, i…

Blessed are the Poor
Isaiah 25:4 KJVAAE [4] For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. I was thinking of the poor, today. I remember how, when I was in seminary, and I wrote a treatise on how God favors the poor, a rich woman (who…

Give to the Poor (Not just the Rich)
[15] If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16] and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. - James 2:15-17 KJVAAE Brothers and sisters, are all human bei…

Bullies...
Sometimes, people don't want to change. They grow up, but they have no desire to understand themselves. When we are young, bullies are obvious, and relatively easy to spot. They are the ones picking on the younger, smaller kids. When they get old, bullies don't usually change, unless someone has corrected them in childhood. Bullies grow up, but do they …

Closer to the Heart
I feel I have a word, from Jesus: Daddy (God): Your choices, are limited, here, on, earth. Mine, in heaven, are, unlimited. We live here, with your love, in our heart. My family, and I: Mary, Joseph, Joseph of Egypt, and others. The apostle John, and Mark, are here, too. We live here, because, we choose, to be, apart from, the chaos, that is, on, earth. Some c…

The Winds of Change
The winds of change, blowing through my childhood. What changed, and what stayed the same? Sometimes, it’s hard to tell. I still have needs. I still have wants. I still have bad days. I still have good ones. But the winds of change keep blowing, and it’s hard for me to tell. Winds blow, from south to north, west to east, and up to down, or down to up. What …

Grown Men with Bad Intentions?
"Grown men with bad intentions." I heard someone say that, about men in professional football, riling up a new quarterback, and "getting him off his game." The commentator was dismissing their behavior as normal, and saying the new quarterback needed to "wise up." I think it's somewhat insane to "dismiss it all," with w…

Helpful Habits - Good Friday
What are, some of God's, helpful, habits, that he gives us, in, the, Bible? Reflecting. Job, when he had lost everything, reflected on his life. It brought him to the conclusion, of finding truth, in God's voice. When we have lost many things, what should we do? What should we say, to those, who have lost even more? Should we offer advice? We can offer, …

One nation, under God?
What are we? As a nation? Are we one, right now? Who wants us to be "one," and who wants us, to be split, into, factions? Who wants us to war against our neighbor? And, who wants, peace? Fascism, and dictatorship, are not in, the, Constitution. Free elections, as they stand, currently, are (in the Constitution). Why do we war? The Bible tells us: [1…

Prejudice is Ignorance
Prejudice, is a sign, of ignorance. Ignorance comes from, not knowing much, about, the world. Ignorance, is the cause of, much hate, in, society. People, who need help, should not be judged as, "Bad people." I think the "bad people," are the ones, who caused them, to need help, in the, first, place. "Poor people," in many societies…

Passive Resistance
What is passive resistance? It is using your voice, and your vote, legally, to change the world order. The way people see things, these days, there is "one right," and "one wrong." What do we do in such times? Do we struggle against each other? Or do we hold down our hearts, give to the needy, and say to those who hate you, "You will no…

Jesus/Immigrants
Jesus says to welcome immigrants. He says, blessed are those who are poor (immigrants). He says their lives are worth, just as much, as his, and everyone else's. That is, the status quo, of God's law. Helping people, instead of hurting them, is, the key. You may say, "But why do I have to help?" I say, "Because the Bible says so:" &…

Hurting and Helping
Who hurts? Who helps? What is the difference, between, the two? Hurting, is not, better than, helping. Those, who help, with their love, and the love of, their hearts, will have, infinite, rewards, in heaven. While those, who hurt, and try to hurt others, will need God's love, even more. Pray about this, today. In Jesus name, Amen.
