Sometimes, people don't want to change.
They grow up, but they have no desire to understand themselves. When we are young, bullies are obvious, and relatively easy to spot. They are the ones picking on the younger, smaller kids. When they get old, bullies don't usually change, unless someone has corrected them in childhood.
Bullies grow up, but do they grow out of bullying? I would argue that they need help getting out of the bullying perspective. I have sometimes been "bullied," with backhanded compliments, and false statements, made about me, in an "adult" manner. This is still bullying.
Bullies need to learn that, although they can "throw their weight around," and disguise it as helpful correction, or "their opinion" about something, it can still be considered bullying, by God. God wants us to know, we will be alright, as long as we repent. We will be okay, as long as we give up our bullying.
Bullying seems to have gotten more popular. Is it because God loves it? No, that's false, and a mistake to think so. God loves it when people get along, under the surface, and on the surface. Tell him, "Thank you for making me whole," after you repent today, if you need to repent of bullying. If not, forgive those who bullied you, and resolve to never be like them. Or, both!
God loves you. Take some time to talk to him today, and to tell him your heart, both on this issue, and any other issue that is weighing on your mind. He loves you, and does not want you to be afraid.
God bless you on this day.
