Grown Men with Bad Intentions?

"Grown men with bad intentions."  I heard someone say that, about men in professional football, riling up a new quarterback, and "getting him off his game."  The commentator was dismissing their behavior as normal, and saying the new quarterback needed to "wise up."  I think it's somewhat insane to "dismiss it all," with words like that.  When did we, as a human race, decide that it's okay to play "games" like that, with each other's sensibilities, and hearts, and minds?  As though it's "approved," by the majority of people watching, so we all should "wise up" and "get with it."  Too many people act this way.  Too many people get away with it. If "getting with it," is tantamount to going against your conscience, I'm out.  If it means you sacrifice your own sense of conscience, and "right and wrong," to accept someone else's disturbed conscience, and sense of right and wrong, that is insane.  The long-term, moral consequences, of "losing your soul," are severe.  Insanity is not always present when you disagree with the society you're living in.  It's present in the society, when sanity is absent from their consciences.
