What is passive resistance? It is using your voice, and your vote, legally, to change the world order. The way people see things, these days, there is "one right," and "one wrong." What do we do in such times? Do we struggle against each other? Or do we hold down our hearts, give to the needy, and say to those who hate you, "You will not change me...because, I am, free."
The needy inhabit every feasible place. Some are rich, and have everything they "need." Others, like our neighbors, are poor, and do not have even, the basics.
What do we do, when our neighbor needs help? We try to give them help, when they need it. This will change us, not from good to bad, or evil to good, but from inhumanity, to human beings.
Something about this, is abhorrent, to those, who love, to hate. Hatred, is not a thing, commanded, in the Bible, anywhere. Jesus tells us, not to "hate your neighbor," or "hate the poor," or "hate the stranger," but to "give to your neighbor," "love the poor," and "open up your house, to the stranger."
"Foreigner," was not a word the Jews used. Stranger, actually just represented, "foreigners," as we know them today. And when Jesus tells us to "welcome the stranger," he is not talking about someone born in this country. He is talking about, everyone, everywhere, no matter where you came from, or who you are. No matter where you were born, we, in America, are to welcome you, and others, by God's word!
Some people choose, to hate, instead of love. Like I said before, they can be rich, or poor, but it makes them, Needy. We need to give them, peace, instead of violence, love, instead of, suffering, and kindness, instead of their habitual, hate. This will, serve to break them our of their hateful, hurtful ways, and give them peace, knowing they are free, to love, the rest of, us, in humanity.
Thank you for reading. God Bless you. Jesus loves you!
