Protesting

Summary of WWII era German nationalist churches:

German Christian Movement: Hitler supported the German Christian Movement (Deutsche Christen), a Protestant faction that sought to combine Christianity and National Socialism (Nazi ideology). This movement aimed to purge the churches of “Jewish” influences and promote a nationalist, racist ideology. Many Protestant leaders, including Reich Bishop Ludwig Müller, endorsed this movement.

End Summary

This movement, in relation to current events, is striking.  Protestant denominations, willingly joined in a racist hate movement, for the purposes of gaining power in the country.  This seems similar to a modern state of the churches, especially evangelical churches, who have joined and engaged with a nationalist figure, who espouses hatred and racism, for the purposes of gaining power.

I feel, their (the church's) influence, is waning, as people see through the mask that they wear.  They are not "good," but evil.  God will see to it that they receive Justice.
